
Established in 2012 and based in Bahrain, the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) is a UNESCO Category 2 Centre dedicated to the preservation and sustainable management of cultural and natural heritage across 19 Arab States.
ARC-WH strengthens the implementation of the 1972 World Heritage Convention through technical assistance, capacity building, and regional cooperation.
The Centre’s mission includes raising awareness and appreciation for heritage while ensuring its preservation for future generations. ARC-WH’s initiatives make it a cornerstone in safeguarding the rich cultural and natural heritage of the Arab world.
